Glenn Beck is the Reincarnation of Martin Luther King, Jr.

If you have missed Glenn Beck in the news recently, you should stop reading this right now and watch this:



This video is obviously slanted and to be fair, this Cenk guy is a bit of a douche too, but the important point here that Glenn Beck is trying to compare himself to MLK.


Really.

Of course that's in between the moments when Beck is prophesying the end of the world, the collapse of America and the communist take over of our culture by Obama and his racist followers.

This past weekend, Beck and his sheep rallied at the feet of the Lincoln Memorial in DC, on the anniversary of King's "I have a Dream" speech to "reclaim the civil rights movement". The numbers that turned out for the Beck rally are still in contention. Beck and his crew say it was 300,000 or so but other news sources put it at about 87,000 idiots showed up. Regardless of the actual number, a bunch of nut-bags came in support of someone who clearly is in the throws of a psychotic, "Jesus" complex. About 90% of Beck's speech was about God, Jesus and how religion is going to "save" this country.

I've got news for you Glenn, religion is what has fucked this country up. We wouldn't have women earning less than men, blacks enslaved, muslims blowing themselves up and pedophiliac priests handed little boys like candy on a plate in this country if it weren't for fucking religion.

To top it off our favorite big tit-ed, "hot for teacher" vice presidential candidate turned Tammy Fae Baker-style televanglist-politician Sarah Palin was on hand to speak and told the crowd that “We must restore America and restore her honor.”

I don't know if Sarah really should be giving advice on honor after all she a) quit her job half way through and b)failed to teach her daughter to practice safe sex. Not exactly text book honor, I'm not even sure if she knows what the word really means.

You know that this rally was important though, not because it made news headlines or because of the celebrity speakers or because of the attendance, but because it drew the ire of another failed candidate, Reverend Al Sharpton. Ol' Al held his own counter-rally at a high school nearby, but it sadly only attracted a couple thousand people.
What we really need is to have our own rally. The Take Your Fucking Religion and Shove It Up Your Ass Rally, or the Whatever Happened To The Separation of Church and State Rally? How about Why Are People Following A Failed Top 40 Disc Jockey With No Formal Education Rally?

Hey Glenn, Sarah, this country is not in trouble because of the loss of religion; it's in trouble because of dip shits like you and the idiots that follow you.

Actually that's probably not true. This country is fucked up because too many Americans are lazy and fat and only interested in 15 second sound bites, the Jersey Shores, talking heads and Facebook. We've forgotten that its more important to understand a topic than it is to be able to repeat the headline and that if we want something we should get it ourselves and not look to the government for it.
